Salt Creek is a small village located along the Coorong on the Princes Highway between Meningie (60km) and Kingston S.E. (85km).

Salt Creek offers 4WD, fisherman, kayakers, birdwatchers, mountain biking and much more to experience this remote wilderness region of South Australia only 2 hours from Adelaide.

You can also enjoy the local Ngrugie Ngoppun Walk and Lakes Nature Trail. View the replica Oil Rig at Salt Creek. Chinamans Well – 16kms south of Salt creek is believed to have been built about 1856 by Chinese immigrants. The Chinese supplied fresh food and water to travellers.

Martin’s Washpool Conservation Park nearby is a great birdwatching, bushwalking and kayaking/canoeing. You can also take on the 4 wheel driving of Messent Conservation Park.
